In Loving Memory
Of Our
Sweet Little Bunny
"CooCoo"
July 1997-Jan.24,2004
In the summer of July, 1997 my family went to the pocono's to visit my sister.  At the time, she worked for a snake and animal farm.  She had called me to come see a baby tiger.  While there visiting we came across some bunnies, which were all snuggled nice  together.  We fell in love with this one and I asked if I could have her and they said yes.  Here are some photo's of our "CooCoo Bunny"
Run to Coleybear CooCoo and be happy and give Coley kisses from all of us!
She was so tiny and we all fell in love with her.
She gave us love back
The day we got her...and brought her home
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge....

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet
goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all our special friends
so that they can run and play together. There's plenty of food, water and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and
vigor.  Those who were hurt and maimed are made whole and strong again;
just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they
each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day  comes when one suddenly stops and
and looks into the distance.  His bright eyes are intent; his eager body
quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group,
flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special
friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion,
never to be apart again.  The happy kisses run upon
your face; your hands again caress the beloved head and
you look once more into the trusting eyes of your
pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from
your heart.
Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together.........

She got her name because she would just jump and twist in the air, so I said to her your coocoo!
I litter trained her in a week. They are very smart
And very lovable.  She was an exceptionally
smart and sweet little bunny
My husband found a lump on her side one day.  So we took her to the vet and she took it out.  It came back as a sarcoma.  She was doing just fine after the operation and then she got sick..
She brought us great joy when there was so much saddness in our lives.  She would give kisses if you asked her or she would just give them when she knew you needed them.
The kitten used to give her a bath, and chase her
Then CooCoo started to chase her. She never let the cat get near her cage or food.
She would follow me around the house.  She loved to eat fruit loops, raw pasta fruit, hard bread.  Every time you ate something, she thought she should also eat it. She was like a little pig sometimes.  She was 6..2 lbs
Dad called her bundle head...
She would lay on the couch all the time.
Follow me upstairs.  She hated to go outside.
She was afraid of it.  We LOVED this little Bunny.
She ran a fever for two days and on January 24, 2004 around 6:45 she screamed out and died in my arms.  I cannot imagine my Nicole dying in front of three people without them helping her.
I know Nicole is now taking care of CooCoo for me and I will see them both again someday.
The grief of losing our child and now our bunny, who was like another child to us, is  to hard to live with. ...
It is God's will they say,  and it is only Him keeping me somewhat sane. Oh the sadness that surrounds our hearts....
We Love you Nicole and CooCoo
Till  we meet again
