Cascading Style Sheet Harper feel that using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) allows a Web Master to develop a specific set of style classes, which can be implemented through the Web Masters web site. Since I have no knowledge of CSS I cannot form an opinion but must rely on what Harper says. However, through normal HTML coding a Web Master can achieve similar results. For Harper uses the example of using CSS and making the "H1" tag red, or making background color of a "TD" cell yellow. This can be achieved through HTML hand coding, but will take more time. Also, sounds like CSS and Dream Weaver may have similar assets, again that can be achieved by hand coding, although hand coding will take longer and may be more stressful. So to use CSS just as using Dream Weaver is to make use of what programs are available to the Web Master. But as thought in CMST-385 hand coding is the foundation to making a good or great web site. For if you understand hand coding it can only enhance ones product by manipulating programs such as CSS or ream weaver. It offers the Web Master the ability to vary the product or add his or her own flavor.
