What a special man!! Isn't he handsome!!! When I was very little I would tell my friends that I was going to marry my Dad when I grew up. Everyone in school would say my dad can beat up your dad...well in mine and Danny's case we could say it extra loud and proud because everyone knew our Dad would beat them all. Sounds silly but it sure made us proud. Dad was a giant toy to us. I laugh as I write this because My husband always tells our children "what do you think I am a jungle gym?" Well I guess he is....are'nt all dads?? Of course he meant much more to us than that. There is nothing like the comfort of a big bear hug from dad. I would love to get one from him right now. My Dads jungle gym days and bear hugs are just beginning again. He and his lovely wife Karen have a little boy named Raleigh and he is 5 years old. He is quite a character. I do not get to see him much but I do speak with him on the phone. Dad and Karen are quite proud with good reason. I have also pictured Karens dad Jim Brien in the last set of photos. He is a very special man as well and I thought he deserved some recognition. I love you all very much and hope to see you soon. Love Heidi |
