We just hurriedly added what we could at the time, since geocities said they would delete our site, since there were not any current updating.  We will be taking photos with our new digital camera and filling in our information.  Please check back often and kidding season will really kick in the end of the 1st week of March.  Matt will be leaving for College so our herd will be cut dramatically so that i can handle things myself.  If you see anything that peaks your interest feel free to let me know..

DOB:  2/12/00  Taboo is our favorite in our Nubian herd.  She has beautiful breed character.  She
is long, level and deep bodied, being very dairy.  Her mammary is snugged up with good  rear attachments, being high/wide in rear and smooth in her fore.  Taboo won the yearling class at the REDGA Nubian Specialty in Santa Rosa.  Taboo had limited showing in the previous years due to her own health issues.  We brought her out of convelesence in 03, and she kicked butt, mostly winning her age group, and in the end, finished her championship.  We will be starting DHIR this year, so her star should be here as soon as she freshens.  If we can hit a 1 day test to expedite, we will. She is so spoilied and a breeze to show as she mostely sets herself up, but requires an occasional kiss to validate her efforts.
Taboo's 1/2 sister in the Lakeshore Farms Herd received the National Jr. Reserve Champion., the 2nd and 3rd place 2 y/o, 5th place 3yo, and 2nd place Sr. Get at the 2003 Nationals, exhibited and bred by Lakeshore Farms. We await scoring her this year for Linear Appraisal.

Julep showed well as a 1st and 2nd freshener, placing steady in the 3,4,5 placings in heavy competitions.   We are thankful to Lakeshore Farms in allowing us to purchase Julep to add to her brother's life at our farm.  She definitely has a slightely different attitude in the fact that she fought with the girls in the barn last year and aborted, so was"t shown.  We hope to see her freshen this year but it will be in July.
