ALLEN FROST, 80 years old, died at his home in the Beckham Ridge Community, Tuesday night, October 25th.  He had been sick for some time and had been in a coma for the last several days.
MR.  FROST was a farmer, but had worked at the timber business in Tennessee several years ago for a long period of his life.
He belonged to no denomination, but had been a devout Christian for many years.  He made a profession several years ago.
He is survived by his wife SARAH, and 12 children.  He had one daughter PEARL who died.
The living children are nine girls and three boys as follows: Mrs.
WALTER BLACK, Mrs.  BUD ANDERSON, Mrs.  L.T.  REXROAT, Mrs.  LUTHER ANDERSON, Mrs.  DEWEY ANDERSON, Mrs.  GEORGE JASPER, Mrs.  TOM HUCKABY, Mrs.  BENNY BURTON, Mrs.  OLIVER McELROY, MORELAND FROST, JOHN R.  and HOBART FROST.
He is also survived by over 100 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Also he leaves several great great- grandchildren.
His funeral will be conducted at Betheham church today at 1:30 P.M.  by Reverend VERNER BLAIR.  Internment will follow in Betheham cemetery.
Rippetoe Funeral Home have charge of arrangements.

Mrs.  SARAH JANE FROST, widow of the late ALLEN FROST, (Francis) died Sunday, June 27, at the home of a daughter Mrs.  VANDIE BLACK, Russell Springs.  She was 92 years of age and had been in failing health for some time.
9 CHILDREN SURVICE She is survived by seven daughters and two sons, as follows: Mrs.  VANDIE BLACK, Mrs.  FRONIE ANDERSON, Mrs.  LOUISA JASPER, all of Russell Springs, Mrs.  GRACE BURTON of Amelia , Ohio, Mrs.  DILLIE HUCKABY, of new Richmond , Ohio, Mrs.  DANIEL ANDERSON , of Fort Wayne , Indiana, Mrs.  SOPHIA ANDERSON of Petersburg, Illinois, JOHN ROWE FROST of Russell Springs, and HOBART FROST of Whiteland , Indiana.  One brother ORVILLE "BUD"
FERRY, also survives, and she leaves 47 grandchildren, 142 great-grandchildren, and 65 great-great grandchildren.
FUNERAL HELD TUESDAY The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon, June 29, in the Russell Springs, Methodist Church and was conducted by the pastor, Rev.  HENRY C.  PERDUE.
Burial was in the Bethehem Cemetery near the Russell-Adair line.
Rippetoe Funeral Home was in charge of services.
Preceding her in death were three children, Mrs.  MOLLIE KINNETT, Mrs.
IDA REXROAT, and Mr.  MORELAND FROST Mrs. Sarah Jane Ferry Frost was the daughter of Daniel L.  & Rebecca Wright Ferry

Moreland R.  Frost, -was born November 3, 1911-died at his home April 18,
1964 - thus being 52 years old at the time of his passing.He was the son of Francis ALLEN FROST and Sarah Frost,-was united in marriage to Gladys Richmond and to this union 5 children were born, -his father and two children preceded him in death.  He is survived by his wife Gladys Frost of Russell Springs-2 daughters: Mrs.  Frances Allen Neat of Edinburgh , Ind.-Miss.  Laura Lee Frost, Russell Springs and a son , Lucky Lynn Frost of Russell Springs, Ky.  He is also survived by 3 grandchildren.  He is also survived by his aged mother Mrs.

2 sisters Mrs.  Ida Rexroat-and Mrs.  Mollie Kinnett,several neices,nephew, and other relatives to mourn his passing.  He professed faith in Christ November 14, 1953 and placed his membership with the Beckham Ridge Baptist Church.  Moreland was an honest , hard-working man,always ready to help with his neighbors and friends in their time of need.  We feel that he is now at rest in his eternal home.

OAKFORD MAN, 53, DIES IN PEORIA HOSPITAL EDWIN L.  ANDERSON , 53, of Oakford died at 9 p.m.  Monday, Feb.  15 at Proctor hospital in Peoria, following a prolonged illness.
Mr.  ANDERSON was born Aug.  12, 1911 at Russell Springs, Ky the son of LOREN and SOPHIA FROST ANDERSON, and was married to PEARL CURRY in March, 1933 .  He was a member of I.O.O.F.  Lodge No.  143 of Havana, and was an operating engineer in Springfield for 15 years.
He is survived by his widow, PEARL, eight daughters, Mrs.  OMA TROWER of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs.  GENTRY HUNTER of Eufaula, Okla, Mrs.  BOBBIE TENDALL of barstow, Calif.  Mrs.  VERNON SMITH of Peoria, Mrs.  CHARLES McCOY of Petersburg.  Mrs.  JOSEPH SHARP of Atterberry, Mrs.  JAMES HARDWICH of Indianapolis, and Miss CONNIE ANDERSON, at home.  three sons WILLIAM of Oakford, MARTIN and PATRICK, at home, His parents, hios grandmother, Mrs.  SARAH FROST of Russell Springs, Ky two brothers, ELMER of Beardstown and ALLEN of Peoria, six sisters, Mrs.  IRVING WILLIAMS of Springfield, Mrs.  ORVILLE KOEHNE of Tallula, Mrs.  JOHN COX of virginia, Mrs.  NORMAN BROWN of Petersburg, Mrs.  FRANK DRUMMOND of harrison, Ohio, Mrs.  INEZ PIERSON of Oakford, and 26 grandchildren.  Three sons and one daughter preceded him in death.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m.  Tuesday at Lintner-Buchanan Funeral Home in Chandlerville, where visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m.  today.  Burial will be in Oakford Cemetery in Oakford.

MRS.  WRIGHT DIES OF WRECK INJURY Eva Wright, 68, of Greensburg route 5, died this morning at Bartholomew County hospital of injuries suffered in a traffic accident Friday.  Her death was the first traffic fatality of 1975 in Bartholomew county.She died on Jan, 13, 1975 Mrs.  Wright and her husband, Joseph R.  Wright, 73 were hurt in a
2-vehicle accident at roads 9 and 31 at 12:55 p.m.
Friday.
Mary C.  Smith, 31, of Seymour, also was hurt in the accident which occurred as she drove a station wagon north on road
31.
Wright had waited for traffic to clear while stopped, headed east at the intersection and drove from road 9 into the path of the Smith station wagon and his vehicle was struck broadside.
Wright and Mary Smith were treated and released at Bartholomew County hospital for injuries they sustained in the accident.
State police trooper David Benjamin, who is assigned to Decatur county was in the vicinity of the accident and investigated it with the assistance of trooper David Richardson and Bartholomew county police.
County police had dispatched units to the accident as Benjamin came upon it.
Funeral services for Mr.  Wright will be conducted at 1:30 p.m.
Wednesday at Norman Funeral home at Hope by the Rev.
George Eagler.  Buriel will be at the Old Union cemetary near Edinburg.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be after 1 p.m.
Tuesday.
Mrs.  Wright was born April 23, 1902 in Bullet county , Ky, to Jerry and Sarah E.  Despain Graham.  She was married to Joseph W.  Wright on Dec.  2, 1924.  They had just celebrated their golden wedding anniversary.
Surviving with her husband are three daughters, Anna E.  Hancher, and Evelyn C.  Martin bothe of Columbus Ind Deana Giles, of Greensburg Ind.  seven sons, Jerry H.  Wright, John S.  Wright, James E.  Wright, Jasper W.  Wright, and Jason Wright all of Nashville Ind.Joseph J.  Wright, Shelbyville , Ind and Jesse H.  Wright of Greensburg; one sister Anna Henderson, Hope, and one brother George Graham, Route 8, 26 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

LOREN ANDERSON DIES AT CONVALESCENT CENTER LOREN E.  ANDERSON, born in Kentucky but a resident of Petersburg for many years, died at 12:30 P.M.  Tuesday, Feb 4, at Menard Convalescent center, at the age of 79.  Mr.  ANDERSON, who was a retired carpender had been in declining health for several years.
He was born Oct 4, 1889 in Russell Springs , Ky a son of ROBERT and MARTHA BLAIR ANDERSON, and married Miss SOPHIA FROST at Byrdstown, Tenn on November 3, 1910.
Survivors include his wife, two sons, ELMER of beardstown, and ALLEN of Chillicothe, six daughters, Mrs.  GERTRUDE KOEHN of Tallula, Mrs.  MYRTIE WILLIAMS of Lockport, Mrs.  OPAL COX of Virginia, Mrs.  LACONIA PIERSON of Oakford, Mrs.  EDNA BROWN of Petersburg, and Mrs.  JESSIE DRUMMOND of Harrison, Ohio, one sister Mrs. LOMA LOVELESS of Russell Springs, Ky 58 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.  Two sons , one daughter, one sister and four brothers preceded him in death.
The body is at the Hurley Funeral home, and services will be held at First Baptist church at 2 P.M.  Thursday Feb, 6 Rev.  DEWEY WILSON and the pastor , Rev ODELL BELL, officiating.  Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Logan Rexrroat dies at age 80
Logan T. Rexroat, a longtime Russell Springs businessman, died at the age of
80, in St. Joseph Infirmary, Louisville, Monday morning, Dec. 11.
Mr. Rexroat operated a general store here for many years, and later a
hardware store. He was considered one of Russell Springs' leading
businessmen.
A heart condition was attributed to Mr. Rexroat's death. He had been a
patient at St. Joseph's for about two weeks.
He was married to Ida Frost who preceded him in death. Two sons also
preceded him.
One son.
He is survived by one son, Edgar Rexroat, Columbia, and his daughter-in-law,
Vivian Rexroat. Also, two grandsons, Norris Allen Rexroat, Albany, Georgia,
and Thomas Darlow Rexroat, Columbia, and a sister, Mrs. James Keown,
Louisville.
The funeral was held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13 at Rippetoe Funeral
Home Chapel with ministers, Rev. Douglas Moseley and Rev. Henry Perdue
officiating.
Interment, arranged by Rippetoe Funeral Home, was in Russell Springs
Cemetery.
Special music was by Ivis Roy and daughters.

SARAH GRAHAM

Mrs. SARAH E. GRAHAM, 86, passed away Friday , May 26, at her home on
R.5, Columbus after an illness of six weeks.
Mrs. Graham was born in LaRue County, Kentucky, October 21, 1874, the
daughter of John T. and Sarah Warren DeSpain. Her husband, Jerry Graham
preceded her in death October 5, 1956.
Funeral services were held on Monday at the Norman Funeral Home, Hope,
Indiana, with rev. CLARENCE HARDIN conducting the rites. Buriel was in
Rest Haven Cemetery, Edingburgh.
Survivors are five children, Mrs. Henderson of Hope, Tom Graham and Mrs.
Edna Smith of R 5, George Graham R 8 Mrs. Eva Wright of R4, Nashville.
Two brothers Andy DeSpain of Hartsville, and Zeak DeSpain of LaRue
County, Kentucky, a sister Mrs. Ross Elkins of Louisville, thirty -two
grandchildren and forty eight great grand children also survive.

passed away Wensday April 20, 1988 at 6:00 a.m. at her home after a long
illness.

Dunnville, Ky;her husband ,Timmy Janes of Greenwood, Ind.;three brothers
Timmy Neat of Greenwood, Ind.;Leon Neat and Rickey Neat of
Dunnville,Ky.;one sister ,Karen Farr of Chattanooga,Tn.;her

LOCAL MAN KILLED IN AUTO ACCIDENT

A Russell County man, JOHN ROWE FROST, of Route 3, Russell Springs was
killed Monday morning when he was struck by an automobile. The accident
occurred on East Highway 80, near the Minit Mart Grocery.
According to police reports, FROST was enroute to Russell Springs, and was
walking along Highway 80 when he stepped into the path of an auto driven by
ANNA HUCKABY, Route 2, Russell Springs. Mrs. HUCKABY was also traveling
east on Highway 80.
The accident occurred Monday morning at 6:20 A.M. . The victim was
pronounced dead at the scene by Russell County Coroner ORA JASPER.
Kentucky State Police trooper RONNIE BUNCH and Russell Springs Police
Officer RUFUS SHEARER Jr. investigated the accident.

JOHN ROWE FROST, age 80, of Route 3, Russell Springs was killed instantly
due to multiple injuries sustained after being struck by an automobile on
Monday, October 17, 1983.
Born August 19, 1903, he was the son of ALLEN and SARAH FROST.
Survivors include his wife, ETHEL FROST, eight children, LYMON and ROBERT
FROST of Columbia, DELIAH FROST, JOHN I. FROST, MILDRED BRADSHAW, LARRY
FROST, JOE FROST, and GARY FROST, all of Russell Springs, eight
grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and four sisters, VANDA BLACK and
FRONNIE ANDERSON, both of Russell Springs, GRACIE BURTON of Amelia, Ohio
and SOPHIA ANDERSON of Virginia , Illinois.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 19, 1983, 1:00 P.M.
at the Bethlehem Separate Baptist Church, with Bros. DENNIS SMITH and Bro.
ROGER POPPLEWELL officiating.
Interment will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery.
Rippetoe Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements. Friends may
call the funeral home today after 3:00 P.M.
