In Caracas Venezuela for Cari and Luis' wedding
June 22 - July 3, 2006
I was so happy to meet  Luis, Cari's husband.  He is a terrific person.  Like Cari, he is an engineer.
These are the three sisters Caribell, Carolina and Carelia.  They are all engineers.  I was so impressed! I really enjoyed Cari's family.  Her sisters were so kind and helpful to me and they speak English, too!
Carolina and her husband Gustavo have an adorable daughter named Nicole.  We became good friends. Nicole  loved it when I sang and did the hand motions to  "the Itsy Bitsy Spider".  They live in New Jersey so I hope that they will come to visit us sometime.  In fact, I hope that the entire Rojas family will come to visit us whenever they can.
Cari was a very beautiful bride.  I was so glad that I could be at her wedding.  Her parents,  Jose and Jesusa Rojas have a big, friendly family.  It was such a busy time for them all but they did a great job of making me feel welcome and at home.  Though it is a beautiful and interesting country, the people were my favorite thing in  Venezuela.
Congratulations Cari and Luis!
We spent a couple of days at the beach on the Carribean.  We had a lot of fun.  I taught them to play the card game "Oh Hell!"  It was my contribution to the culture of Venezuela.
