Hello missing MAMAs!!!
The long-lost MAMA mailing list has been recovered after 2 long years of searching! You may be wondering how it was recovered:
- Did we hire a private investigator to scour the office of my former employer? No.
- Did we buy a high-tech computer scanner and scour over all of our hard-drives to recover the lost data? No.
- Did we check on my brother's computer in the folder called "MAMA stuff"? Well, yeah - but it took us two years to think of that.
In any case, the list has been meticulously reconstructed from a variety of e-mails sent and archived over two years ago. We're sure all of you have basically put your lives on hold over the past two years awaiting further contact from us, but in the unlikely chance that one of you had already unsubscribed since the former list was assembled, please feel free to unsubscribe again with our apologies. It won't happen again - we promise.
WHAT'S NEW WITH MAMA???
Well, not much, but expect a major overhaul over the next few weeks. Some of the major upcoming improvements include:
* Clearing up the tone of the site to make sure its understood in its proper context of a light-hearted tribute to mediocre players, not a site ripping suckitude. (We've received enough compaints from friends & families of members who just don't get it.)
* Cleaning up the site navigation
* Updated, complete Minnesota stats for all players
* more links & "where are they now" features
* this e-group, which is open for discussion & debate on mediocre players & memories
* MORE, MORE, MORE!!!! Oh wait, actually that's about it. Nevermind.
Thanks again for all of your contributions. We're really planning on getting this going again with some new interactive features that should be fun for everyone. (But not THAT fun, of course. Its not like we're getting paid for this!)
