In recognition of his mediocre contribution to Minnesota sports

JOE SMITH

is hereby inducted into the

Minnesota Assembly of Mediocre Athletes Hall of Fame

on this 29th day of February, 2004

If there's one thing we can conclude from Joe Smith's career its this - its good to be a friend of KGs! We don't need to remind you about "the deal" that cost the Wolves numerous 1st round picks and ensured they would be locked into mediocrity for the next decade. On the court, the former #1 overall pick was as average as you can get, contributing some offense and athleticism but never developing the polish to become the superstar some had expected. When a player is best known for his uncanny ability to draw charging fouls, MAMA takes notice!
