In recognition of his mediocre contribution to Minnesota sports

DOUG WEST

is hereby inducted into the

Minnesota Assembly of Mediocre Athletes Hall of Fame

on this 29th day of February, 2000

Consistently the most dependable player on an inept team, Doug suffered through 8 long years with the Wolves before finally making the playoffs in 1997. The T-Wolves original second round pick, for 9 years Doug West aspired to achieve mediocrity for the leagues worst franchise. Then, just as it appeared the team was starting to round the corner, Doug was traded to the lowly Vancouver Grizzlies in exchage for Anthony Peeler (another mediocre player in his own right!)
