In recognition of his mediocre contribution to Minnesota sports

MIKE LYNN

is hereby inducted into the

Minnesota Assembly of Mediocre Athletes Hall of Fame

on this 29th day of February, 1992

As General Manager of the Vikings for a reign spanning three decades, Mike assured Minnesota's football fans that they would always have a mediocre team to watch in the fall. Although Mike had long been revered as a king of mediocrity, he aded the finest jewel to his crown in 1989 when, just as it seemed that the Vikings were inevitably headed for success, Mike pulled the team back into the NFL's Pack of Parity as he spearheaded the Herschel Walker deal. Despite leaving Minnesota to see the WLAF off to a sluggish start, Mike will long be associated with turning the Vikings from an NFL perennial power to a perennial also-ran.
