Baby Surpise Sweater
Mitered Sweater & Leggings
I accidently "unvented" this stitch while trying for something totally different.  I later learned from Knit & Chat forum that somebody else had already done this stitch.  Only they called it tweed.  To see directions for this surpisingly easy slip stitch (and to see a back view of this sweater), click here.
I knitted the sweater using Island Knitter's Mitered Stockinette Stitch Baby Sweater pattern.  You can get her pattern by clicking here, or you can click on Knit & Chat Forum, from there, click on Links Page, then on Knitting Patterns. There are a veriety of patterns available there.  The leggings are from Elizabeth Zimmerman's pattern, found in Knitter's Almanac.
Snow Suit
Leggings
These leggings are also from EZ's leggings pattern.
Quick Sweater
I knitted this camo snowsuit for my best friend's grandson.  I used handpainted fingering weight Conshohocken Wool.
Snow Hat
This is the matching cap for the snowsuit shown above.
I knitted Lorraine Major's Quick Baby Sweater for my first granddaughter last year..
BSS Before
Angel Hat
I made this Lorraine Major's  Angel Lace Baby Cap to match the above sweater.
Kitty Jogger
I made this Kitty Jogging Suit with Red Heart Baby Teri yarn for my granddaughter.  I found the pattern in a Red Heart pattern book.  To see a larger view, please click on the picture.
This is what EZ's Baby Surprise Sweater looks like before the shoulder seam is sewn and the buttons applied.  It looks nothing like a sweater here.
BSS-After
SURPRISE!!!  It looks like a sweater after all!. I also made a matching Adjustable Baby Hat.
