FAMILY LETTER

Dear Family and Friends,
Here we are starting a new school year. We have a whole new outlook on this year. New study topics and methods. We will be tring a study method called Notebooking. I really like the method and I think it will really make the learning process for Benton and Ember so much more peronal.

We are still in our Co-op at LCA. I am teaching Art in the K-6 grades. I have two classes (k-3 and 4-6) and both are full of beautiful and talented kids. I am so blessed to be a part of this wonderful program. We go every Monday from 8:30am - 2:30pm. The kids are taking as follows:

Ember - Explorers,
              US Government
              Human Body
              Plants
              Art
              Simple Science

Benton - Geology
              Famous Americans
              Geography
              Westward Ho
              Art
              Simple Science

Zander - Zander will be doing the preschool program (I teach and assist in) on Monday. But he will be starting his Tuesday and Wednesday program also at Parkway Baptist.

Besides the School year coming up, we have been working on our first flip since around the beginning of April. It has truly been a challenge. We hit lots of hurdles, but it is coming along. We feel it should be finished in a few weeks. YEAH!!! I will post before and after photos here when the project is complete. Our goal is to have it on the market if not sold at it's open house by or before September 1st. Our long time goal is to turn our investing buisness into a full time job and replace Cory's income at Roadway with rental profits. We have one rental propety and are now doing flips to make profits to purchase more rental properties. Cory would love to in the future move on to Apartment Complexes. I am excited about our first project. I know it is a training for the many more to come.

P.S. I will be decreasing some of our website to make it a bit more managable and easier to update. And with the kids getting older we have decreased in Bday parties and stuff. We will let them mention them on their site, but will keep the links down. This will take some time to get done since I have such little time. But I will continue to keep updated progress notified by email.

I am also working on an Art site for my LCA students also. It may be linked into the Art MeNaGeRiE. I will email once it is finished. Thank you for your patience and God Bless.
