Elliana is almost 8 !!!
Elli had her 8th birthday at a beading store.  The girls made bracelets and ate dinner and cupcakes!!  She is in 3rd grade this year.  She really enjoys homeschooling; although, she would rather just play pretend ALL day!  Her cursive writing is quite impressive!  She loves imagination time with her horses, dressing up, and playing with her friends.   She  always keeps the family entertained with made-up jokes, games, and make-believe friends!  There is always laughter when Elli is in the room.   She gives the most snuggly hugs and kisses, too!  We love that about her!  In July (2005), she said a bedtime prayer where she thanked God for the big world that He made, but asked if He could make it bigger so she could make more new friends! (She's never met a stranger!!)   As tears were welling in my eyes, knowing the Lord was confirming His will for us to move to Honduras, she began praying for the people there!  What a heart for Jesus and people she has!  She has more than fulfilled the meaning of her given name, Elliana,

Caleb is now 13!!!
He is in 8th grade this year, but advanced a couple years in math.  He says he doesn't like math, but this year he is really enjoying geometry.   I continue to be impressed with his ability to motivate himself.  He participates in a discipleship class on Sundays with other boys his age.  Wednesdays he has Jr. youth, too.  He is also taking guitar.  He wants an electric guitar, but I keep trying to show him the logic of getting really good on the acoustic...you can take it anywhere, it's much nicer for worship, etc.  I don't think I have convinced  him, yet.  He is still cooking, usually 2-3 dinners a week.   We are just so proud to have him as our son.  He is amazing!!

Elli was in the petting farm (which consisted of 3 animals), at Zamorano Agricultural School in Honduras.  She is a friend to all, including beasts!
