Mary's Joy
As Mary walked the garden path, The day that He did die, She thought she'd lost the one she loved And in her heart cried, Why?
She came upon the empty tomb, Her Savior was not there. She fell upon her knees and wept, Her heart was filled with prayer.
"My Lord is dead, what shall I do?" She cried out from her soul. A man in white approached her, These words to her he spoke.
"Mary, do not grieve for me, I truly am not dead. To prepare a place in Heaven, For you, I go ahead.
Within my Father's House, you'll be, Beside me soon, one day. So spread the Word, rejoice in Me, Teach those along the way.
Now Mary's heart was filled with joy, She'd live her life for Him. And when He called her home, one day, She's see her Lord again.
