                     Game 1

In their first game of the season, the Fireballs  played to a 1-1 tie. The only goal for the boys was scored by Michael.
Even though they were missing a few players, they gave it everything they had and more, to stay in the game and earn the tie.
There was some great play on offense by Ryan and Shane and some awesome defense by Billy and Frankie .
Next game is Sunday Sept 18th .
Fireballs
                               Game 2
The Fireballs lost a tough game 3-2. After trailing by a 3-0 score the boys made a comeback with some spectacular play by Frankie and Michael.         Ryan showed he has a strong foot by booming a few balls out of his zone and up to his offensive players.  Shane was really hustling on offense  and defense. Frankie stole a few balls from the opponent and Michael was all over the field trying to help the Fireballs score.
The Fireballs 2 goals were scored by Jamie,  who took a long pass and went in and scored for his first goal. He then blocked a goal kick and dribbled in for his second goal.
Billy played goal in the first half, and played a super second half. Shane played goal in the second half and kept the other team scoreless.
The Fireballs had a few chances to tie it up, but were stopped by some great play by the goalie.

                                    Game 3
         Fireballs win 4-0

We had a few new faces on the team today. Tommy and Ethan played in their first games of the year, and they were chasing that ball like crazy!!!! Ryan and Billy again played some strong defense, while  goalies Shane and Frankie combined on a shut-out.
The Fireballs  Took a quick 1-0 lead when Jamie dribbled around the defense and scored his first goal of the game. Later, in the first half , Jamie  stole a pass and blasted one into the net for his second goal. In the second half, Jamie stole another pass and danced his way past the defense and scored his third goal of the day, giving him a
HAT TRICK.
The Fireballs werent done yet, Michael took the ball at mid-field and dribbled all the way in by himself and launched one into the goal giving the Fireballs a 4-0 victory!!!

Congratulations on your first win!!!!!

                                    Game 4

The Fireballs played their fourth game of the year, and probably their most exciting game so far!!! Both teams played terrific. Ryan started in goal for the Fireballs and held the other team scoreless with some wonderful saves. These boys were really playing hard today.
Frankie showed his speed by dribbling in and getting a shot on goal that the goalie saved. Billy and Ethan were playing their best game yet, chasing that ball wherever it went. Tommy was right in the middle of things all game and is really improving his skills.
Jamie scored the only goal for the Fireballs by intercepting a pass from the goalie and shooting it in before he was able to get back in the net!!! Shane was keeping the Fireballs in the game with some fine play in the first half. Then, he took the goalie position in the second half and continued to help out, stopping all but one shot by the other team.
Michael was giving it his all, weather he was playing defense or offense. He managed to get past the defense a few times and get off some shots, but the goalie wouldnt let another one by. Jamie was all over that field, hustling on every play. He had the best chances to give the Fireballs the lead with some fancy footwork, but again the goalie just wouldnt let one get behind him. It was a great game that ended in a tie

                                    Game 5

The Fireballs lost a tough one on Sunday by the score of 4-3. Billy played goal the first half and Shane played the second half. Both boys did a great job. Frankie really seems to be enjoying the game these days as he is always smiling. Tommy is really improving each game and seems to be having lots of fun out there; Ethan was really hustling, trying as hard as he could to help the team win. Michael played some offense and some defense and really helped keep the other team from scoring. Jamie scored a
HAT TRICK today and tried his best to tie up the game at the end, but just couldnt get one more past the goalie.

                             Great Game Guys
