The Malverne 7 & 8 Year Olds got off to a flying start last night in their first game. �We did a great job� in the field, on the bases and at the plate,� said Manager John G. �We had one very unlucky inning and unfortunately lost 3-2, but I am very proud of my guys�
Kosta, Daniel and Billy C provided the offensive spark to give Malverne an early lead and Glen and Nicky and Eddie provided great pitching.
�We had lots of fun, learned some things and got new uniforms just before the game. I am very proud of all of us,� said Mr. G.
Our next game is Friday at home vs. Mineola. |
