The Malverne 7 and 8 year olds lost last night 10-6 to Roslyn. "We were great...except for one inning," said Manager John G. "We seem to have one bad inning every game. But that means we're having 5 good or great innings every game."
Pitchers Frank, Michael, and Eddie did a fine job. Our fielding was very good, except for that 4th inning. "We are still taking way too many called strike threes... we need to be more agressive at the plate and more defensive with 2 strikes."
There are two games remaining. Mr. G wants all players and their families to PARTY after the final game on Wednesday. Details soon. |
