The Malverne 7/8 Year Olds were oh-so-close to winning last night vs. Garden City. Going into the top of 6th inning, Malverne had a 3-0 lead, but GC put together a couple of hits and tied us up. Billy M, Nicky and Chris S. were awesome on the hill.
"The boys were outstanding tonight", said Manager John G. "Each one made me so proud. True gentlemen." The tie makes their record 2-4-1.
"I thought for sure we were going to fair well against these guys... we even had our good luck charm, Natalie on the bench with us, " said Mr. G.
