This is a collection of songs that capture Phil Jackson at his very best, acoustically.   This CD was recorded LIVE on April 28th, 2001 & on May 5th, 2001 at The   Campus Pub in Murfreesboro, TN. & August 5th, 2001 at C.M.A.P. in Windsor, CO.  These songs show the true mastery of lyric and string, combined in such a way as to take you on an endless journey through the heights and depths of humanity.  Not often do you get a chance to hear such haunting melodies combined with a light hearted jest, and Phil does it masterfully.  From the fun and sassy “Slimy Sue” to the title track “Little Sugar”, Phil provokes thought and wonderment at a world that sometimes doesn’t seem so cozy as we imagine it to be.

Phil Jackson is a master at his craft and I think that you will agree after listening to this recording.  It was with great pleasure that I first heard and recorded  these songs. I know that you will enjoy them as much as I did.
