| 28.11 * I've just happily seen Degiorgio win a great race on Dark Angel today. 1'16"3 she was magnificient and won impressively easy :-) Tips for next Sunday's races are now in..... 26.11 * Some good news from Sweden. Mint Spirit (Degiorgio)registered an easy win on Sunday doing 1'15"4 on 2140 mts. Degiorgio keep up the good work ! This week promises to be very interesting with lots of horses starting.Fingers crossed ! Tips for tonight's program are finally in. Better late than never !!! 20.11 * Well, it has been a week since my last update (been busy !). Only one positive result to rapport from Sweden. A good second place for Dark Angel (Degiorgio) in Orebro on the 16th. The other 'maltese' starters where non placed. * Tips for this Friday / Sunday races are now in.... 13.11 * I don't know what actually happened but it seems that my website have lost all the pics. So until I sort this out I am sorry but no pics. * Tips for next Friday / Sunday races in Marsa are now in. I seriously doubt that these meetings will however happen due to bad weather forecast for this weekend. We wait and see.... 12.11 * So Lovely Girl won his second consecutive race yesterday in Vincennes. Trained by Fabrice Souloy and driven by Jean Michel Bazire he won his second race from as many races registering 1'17"9 on 2200 metres. We will look forward to his next race...... This has not been a great week for Degiorgio and other Maltese owned horses in Sweden. Superior As places 4 was the best result of the week. 08.11 * It's a sad day today. A champion died. Kito du Vivier died yesterday at the age of 10. Trained by F.Boismortel, Kito du Vivier last race was a good 2nd place in Mons in the Prix de Toussaint last Sunday.His next objective was the Grand National du Trot on the 14th December in Vincennes. Son of Quito du Talonay, Kito du Vivier had a portfolio of eur 1,700,00 and a personal record of 1'10"4 registered in Enghien on the 30th of June 2007. 05.11 * Tips for this Friday and Sunday are now available. * Only 4th place for November Motions (P.Ingves) this week. * Degiorgio as from the 1st of November have now turned professional. Great news !! 03.11 * Well...what can I say ????... Joker de Choisel is the horse of the hour in Marsa. To be honest he has been for quite a while now. Yesterday he raced against some of the best and he won with impressive ease. Think Yatzee won as expected in the first Ubet Premier Championship S/Final. He did a good 1'14"9 but I expexted a better finsh from this horse. We will have to wait next time to confirm his status. Second semi final was won by Bello Fratello. It was definately his best race since his arrival in Malta. * Me and Lorraine once again have beaten Jason in yesterday's tips. We got 4 against Jason's 3. Better luck next time :-) 30.10 * Definately not a good week so far for Degiorgio. 3 races so far and no places. No place also for Baronello (R.Jansson) last Tuesday in Eskilstuna. * We where surprised to see Maharajah (Orjan Kihlstrom) beaten by Yield Boko (Bjorn Goop) last week in Romme. Only 10 days have passed and it's already come back time ! Next Saturday these 2 horses will cross swords again in a SK 700,000 Breeders Crown Final in Eskilstuna. I'll still go for a win for Maharajah but who knows ????? 27.10 * OK OK so it wasn't the weekend we all have expected. Yesterday's program in Marsa was postponed due to bad weather. Without doubt it was the best decision. We cound't have such an elite meeting ruined by the rain. So now everything has been postponed to this Sunday. On the other hand Degiorgio keeps on impressing in Sweden. Second place on Mint Spirit ( what an improvement this horse have made under Degiorgio's training), 4th place for Confidential and Eastern Wind. Superior As 1st once again in Solvalla. 13 wins from 20 starts he is definately our Commander Crowe :-). Other horses which are not at Degiorgio. November Motions trained by my friend Ingemar had a very good 3rd place. Doxology Movie 5th and Izor Rick 6th. I just saw the race of Goldmine IT in Mantorp...results are not out yet but I don't think he got a place. * Other news from abroad. Driven majestically by Peter Ingves, Commander Crowe certianly got his revenge on Triton Sund. Taking the lead as from start he won on 1'14 on 2640 metres. Triton Sund managed to get only the 4th place spot. * In France there is a new horse to follow. So Lovely Girl. Trained by Fabrice Souloy he broke the record of qualification for 2 year olds. 1'15"5 on 2000 metres on the 15th of October. He then went to win easily driven by JM Bazire on the 23rd October in Cabourg. Will 'So Lovely Girl' be the new Pearl Queen or Qualita Bourbon. Fabrice Souloy sure hopes so ! 24.10 * Very interesting amateur horse for sale in Horses For Sale Section...If interested call James 79426490. 22.10 * This will be a fantastic week for us trotter lovers :-) This Sunday in Marsa we will have the best of the best horses racing. The normal Premier promises to be the spectacle of the year. In Vitro du Bourg - Fox Waltz - James de l'Iton - Knock de Manche - Hiracen de Brehan - Joker de Choisil in the same race is definately a dream race. Newcomer Kamis de l'Eveche has always left a very good impression in a test race last Sunday. Then we will have the Swedish Ubet Championship in the semifinal stages. Considering the crowds we have been getting these last weeks, I beleive that the biggest crowd we've seen for a very long time will be at the races this Sunday. Good luck to all ! * In Jagersro on Saturday there will also be a super race.Once again Commander Crowe and Triton Sund will cross swords.Will Commander Crowe have his way and revenge or will Triton Sund confirm that he is the best Swedish horse of the moment ?? Im also very curious to see how French horse Kocobar will compete at this level. He had a very good debut race in Halmstad last week. L'Amiral Mauzan will be driven by Bazire and would also try to have his say. We just have to watch and enjoy ! * Weekly roundup of Sweden results. Degiorgio kept the positive trend with places for A Touch of Gold - Uno Weilinga - Eastern Wind and Confidential. We had 2 wins also this week. Lufti Simoni (Claes Svensson) and Louise Wood (Rauno Pollanen). * Next start are now updated..... 21.10 * Friday's and Sunday's Tips are already in. I was the winner last week with 3 guesses. Lorraine and Jason had 2 each :-) 16.10 * Tips for next Sunday and in. check it out... 14.10 * This promise to be a very hectic week with lots of horses starting between today and Saturday. check list of starters.... 13.10 * It is fun to compare all the tips given on the internet and to see who is guessing right :-). Lorraine Cunningham (www.maltastar.com) was the winner yesterday hands down. She guessed 6 / 10. Second was Jason Vassallo (www.jvassallostables.com). He guessed 4/10. I was last :-(...only 3/ 10.
