I have always had a compassion for cars and especially the Ford Mustang. In July of 1996 I located a 1966 coupe which was on the borderline of a parts car and a project car.  I chose to make it my project car. The car was located in Southern New Jersey and flat beded to Northern NJ.  I began to disassemble the car. I welded new full floors, 3 out of 4 inner fender aprons, section of firewall, section of rear frame rail, inner and outter wheelhouses on both sides, both quarter panels, rear body panel(tail light)and trunk floors. The suspension was rebuilt as well as the 200 CID in line 6 cylinder. The car has the standard 2.77 3 speed trans and a pony interior which I have completely replaced except for the headliner. The car is Ivy Green with a Parchment interior. Work is almost complete on this car.In the meantime I also own a 2002 Mustang GT Coupe. While looking for parts I picked up another 1966 Mustang Coupe. This one is a "C" code which is the 289 engine 2 bbl carb and this too has a 3 speed trans. Also have a 84 convertible and recently completed an 89 hatchback. Check back for updates on the restoration and I hope to have more pictures on the site shortly. |
