Hi y'all!! I'M AdaM!! I'M 17 years old I live in Jonesville VA. i have a girlfriend (Marleana Craig) go to LEE high and I'M in a Wheelchair.
I fell 40ft. out of a tree on August 23 1997 and broke my neck. I have a c-4/c-5 cervical level spinal cord injury(sci) or about 3 inches froM the top of My neck . That Means I have no MoveMent in My lower body up to My chest or My hands and little in My arMs. The reason is because when I broke My neck the nerve cord that sends Messages between My braim and the rest of My body was cut. the MoveMent I do have is froM the nerves above My injury level(c-1 c-2 c-3). Witch also Means only My MoveMent is effected by the injury. If you have any questions feel free to e-Mail Me.
I don't have Much to tell about. but i'll start at age 6, I lived in groton CT i went to Charles BarnuM EleMentary School and played soCCer. when I was 10 I Moved to San diego CA . I lived there for a year and a half it was hot and croweded and we did not like it there so we moved back east to Lee Co. VA. That was about 5 and a half years ago I was in 5th gread then , I went to Elk Knob EleMentry School for 5th gread, then it was off to Jonesville Middle School for 6th, 7th, and 8th gread but during this time my life took a major turn. Not necassarly a bad turn although that just depinds on how you look at it. In 7th gread I fell out of a tree two days after school started in 1997 I was paralised froM the chest down I spent about three weeks at Holstin Valley Med. Center before going to Scotish Rites Childrens Med. Center in Atlanta GA or three months of rehab. when that was over I came hoMe on NoveMber 24 1997 I was welcomed back by everyone at JMS and I began going back to school full tiMe in the next week of school. I also started dating Tabatha Trit we had a pretty solid relationship for a little less then two years . Well she broke up with Me in the suMMer of 1999 without telling Me why . But I got over that pretty quick and a few Months latter I began talking to Marleana Craig More and More witch evintually led to asking her out at the Valentine dance in My freshMen year at Lee High School. Her and I are still togeather today(over a year latter). We went to The prom together (My first) and she looked like a dark haired barbie doll dressed up for a ball.
About a year ago I began to spend alot of tiMe thinking about what I was going to do with My life. So I started looking for a direction to go in and around four Months ago I began going to the First Baptist Church in Jonesville. It was there I found the way I wanted My life to go. I turned to the Bible and the More I read the More certin I BecaMe that this was the right way for Me. At that time I was saved and I got Baptised in to the church
That is pretty Much all of the More exciting points in My life. Not the Most adventurous life of all but I'M not going to coMplain. Now I'M a Junir at Lee High and plan to be a stock broker after college. till then I will take what I get and Make the Most of it.
