Having heard the Mall Rat�s plan, MAY divulges this new information to MEGA
In search of hair curlers, GEL, MOUSE and SAMMY head to TRUDY�s room, and discover it in a chaotic mess. MAY, hidden, looks on.
Having discovered her room in tatters, TRUDY lays into GEL, MOUSE and SAMMY. The kid�s swear it wasn�t them, as MAY looks on uncomfortably.
TRUDY and AMBER remark to each other that they feel uncomfortable around MAY
MAY talks to JACK in an attempt to see what he knows. JACK is convinced that the holograms and a ZOOT double are the foundations for the crisis. He�s even more certain that there has to be proof, somewhere. MAY feigns praise, before reporting back to MEGA.
MAY reports to MEGA about the factionalism and arguments amongst the Mall Rats. MEGA is annoyed with MAY for asking too many questions.
MAY continues to report disunity amongst the Mall Rats to MEGA who is still concerned over the JACK threat. MEGA is increasingly frustrated by DARRYL; DARRYL telling MAY too much about the 'Zoot Resurrection' plans.
MAY is annoyed with MEGA regarding the bomb attempt and the risk it put her under. He tells her of his innocence in the whole matter. MAY comes across DARRYL suffering from stage fright and self-doubt before the big resurrection event
Up on the roof, MAY finds SALENE all alone. MAY offers to share a bottle of hooch to help break the ice. The conversation is friendly, until MAY makes a confession. SALENE�s furious that MAY had a message from PRIDE and kept it to herself. Stung, MAY venomously exclaims that PRIDES dying words were "I love you, MAY"!
MAY is tired of no reward for her spying efforts and complains to MEGA. MEGA once again shows the STATS confessional video which puts her over a barrel- she agrees to track SIVA.
In the Operations Room, MEGA and MAY look at a blown up photo of the mystery man, SLADE. He is not recognised by the computer database. MEGA wants MAY to hack into JACK's computer
JACK and ELLIE's progress is once again interrupted, this time by the flashing light of the camera. The camera has filmed the computer infiltrator and to JACK and ELLIE's surprise, it turns out to be MAY. They both agree to keep it a secret and follow MAY to find out the extent of her malevolence.JACK hands ELLIE a two way radio so that the two can call each other if MAY leaves the Mall. Later, they use the radios and attempt to follow MAY to find out who she is spying for.
Inside the Mall, JACK and ELLIE discuss MAY the spy�s movements. A sudden interruption by the lady herself leaves both JACK and ElLIE deeply troubled � is their cover blown? Jack and Ellie super-sleuths get their big break. Having followed MAY to a car park, the duo spy MAY meeting with MEGA � but why?.MAY joins the Mall Rat meeting, only to find she�s the topic of conversation. With accusations coming left right and centre, MAY plays it cool � afterall isn�t MEGA one of the good guys? No ones convinced and MAY�s sentenced to the cage!.JAY locks himself inside with MAY. He�s going to get the information out of her by any means necessary. The band of Mall Rats approach MAY. If their plan is to stand any chance of success they�re going to need her help. MAY oozes defiance. At the rendezvous point, MAY meets with MEGA. Before MAY can warn him, the Mall Rats spring out and confront the phantom menace. For MEGA it�s water off a ducks back. The final ace is revealed when a band of armed Technos surround our heroes.
In the caf�, the Mall Rats vote to expel MAY from the Mall. MAY vows that the Mall Rats will be sorry for their actions. MAY looks for sympathy from MEGA but he is having none of it and throws her out of the sector. She is filled with hate and further thoughts of revenge.
MAY, evicted by both Mall Rats and Technos, wanders aimlessly- both starving and miserable. She fossicks around the city for cast off food scraps. MAY approaches a TRADER for a crust of bread but the TRADER will only give it to her if she can repay the favour in other ways. MAY realises that this is a proposition and strides away
