Isaac Suttle, was born in Fauquier Co., VA. about 1767, and died after 1842 in Lauderdale Co. MS. He was the son of William Suttle of King George Co. VA., and Margaret Harbin.

The wife of Isaac Suttle was Sarah Meredith, the widow of James Meridith who was convicted of a crime and hung about 1789 and prior to 1792. Isaac Suttle was Executor of the estate and married the widow Sarah Meredith before 1792.

Elbert Co. Deed books relate a transaction 11 August 1792 between Isaac Suttle and James Almond involving slaves, to settle an account of James Meredith, deceased. Sarah Meredith {widow} and James Moore had been appointed executors of the estate with James Almand acting as security.

Isaac was a land owner in both Clarke and Elbert Co. Georgia. 5 November, 1811; Isaac Suttle sells a tract of land to Peter Williamson.

27 December, 1808 between Isaac Suttle and wife Sally, Henry Cliff and wife Sally and Buckner Eaves in right of Polly his wife , all heirs of James Meredith deceased. This was real estate was in Clarke Co. and was possession of James Meredith at this death. Sally the widow and siblings sold their part to Buckner and Polly. Recorded 1 May 1816

Isaac Suttles was a Minister, planter and landholder. He came to Alabama after 1816 and before 1818. Graves Eaves IV, son in law of Isaac Suttle is listed as a Delegate to the Cahawba Baptist Association in October 1820, with Isaac Suttle, from Rebobeth Church in Cahawba (Bibb) Co., AL. The Rehobeth Baptist Church was admitted to the Cahawba Baptist association in 1819. Abram's book on the history of Bibb County, Alabama, on page 172-173 has an article on Rev. Isaac Suttle, he lists the children of Isaac Suttle

Isaac had a brother, Stephen who was in Perry Co. AL., in 1840 and thought to have died in Winston Co. MS.

2. Margaret Suttle, born 1793 Elbert Co. GA. Married (1) Graves Eaves (2) Mr. Robert Bailiff. Margaret died after 1850 in Lauderdale Co. MS.

3. Isaac G. Suttle II was born Elbert Co., GA 1794.

4. Charity Suttle was born 1796 married John Allen

5. Samuel Suttle, born about 1800, and died about 1836 in Winston, MS. He married Nancy McCormick
6. James H. Suttle, 12 January, 1811 Elbert Co., GA., and died 28 October, 1858 in Jasper Co., MS.

Isaac G. Suttle, was born Elbert Co., GA. 1794. He married 30 June 1829 Bibb Co. AL., to Louisa McCary, born about 1807 Edgefield Co. South Carolina, and died about 1871 Coosa, Alabama . Daughter of Richard McCary who was born in Amherst, VA. and died in Choctaw Co. AL. and wife Nancy Martin.

Margaret Suttle, daughter of Isaac and Sarah Suttle born about 1793 in Elbert Co, GA. and died after 1850 in Lauderdale Co. MS. She married Graves Eaves and after his death she married 9 March, 1839 in Perry Co. to Robert Bailiff.
