| Match Report - Round 9 vs Narrandera |
| Group 20 |
| The 4 try blitz return of Chad Grintell to Mallee Men colours, and the dominant display by Captain Coach Ryan Prevett was the difference between West Wyalong & Narrandera on Sunday. Chad had the first half season with Canberra Raiders Jersey Flegg side, but was released last week to take up where he left off last season as center partner to Mick Loudon. Chad annoyed the daylights out of a sometimes un-disciplined Narrandera, scoring 4 tries on his return. Coach Prevett was outstanding, charging into the defence and hurting tacklers in his wake. This game, after a 2 week lay off through byes, could not have come at a better stage as we face Leeton next week at home which should be a beauty, and certainly indicate where we will finish later in the year. With Leeton & Griffith Black & Whites to both visit Ron Crowe Oval, we are looking for a complete turnaround to the first round defeats.
