| Match Report - Round 11 vs DPC |
| Group 20 |
| The long road trip to Coleambally proved a success for the Mallee Men on the weekend, coming away with 3 wins from 4 starts. The First Grade had everything that the Roosters could muster thrown at them in the first half, only crossing into attacking territory in the 18th minute. The West Wyalong defence carried on the superb work from last week continually repelling DPC raids, that eventually tired the big opposing pack. Half time saw the Mallee Men leading 18-12 and the Roosters supporters probably thought they were in with a chance not so. From the resumption of play West Wyalong took complete control and powered away not allowing DPC to score any further points. West Wyalong ran in 6 un-answered tries to dominate proceedings and run out comfortable winners 50-12. The boys will certainly have to focus this week at training as Griffith Black & Whites visit Ron Crowe Oval in what should be a beauty. With both sides having had 6 wins each but Griffith also having a draw, there is only 1 point separating the two, and a win for West Wyalong could see them leap frog Black & Whites to fourth and only 2 points shy of what could be equal third, with TLU the following week. The pressure is certainly on. Best for West Wyalong were : Dan Hartnett, Rohan Loudon, jared Carruthers, Chad grintell and Ryan Prevett.
