Torch specks, pink feather boa, the hartnoll brothers ...
It was cold and i was running late. Brrr.. waiting for the 8-minute tube to London Arena was more like watching a silent movie. But  i  entertained myself with a scotch egg from sainsbury and the Argentina girl I came with was falling asleep on the bench. Sitting on my other side on the bench was a hippylike but  happy  girl and she was try  to light up her fag. Monica's lighter was weak. I lit  her cigarette for her and started  moaning about  the tube. Her 3 friends,  who  seemed curious  about  my snack, joined us. We nattered til  the  tube arrived and we  took our mad convo  inside ... giggling and joking like old pals. The Argentinian  was still sleepy....zzzzz

When we got to London Arena, , i lost my new  friends  in the throng of people and forgot to get their contacts. And it wasn't only them that i lost. Once inside the arena, my fuschia feather boa went missing.

Lesson learnt:never bring a boa with u to a gig haaha.....

What a great way to end my Dec2000  holiday in London. Mwahaha.... a top night it was at  Orbital  'live' @ London Arena on NYE. All thanks to Orbital webmaster actually.

It  was better  than  zouking   on  a  Friday  night  and   i  wished Eliza, Angel, Lukie, Kat, Chwee  &  Jerry  were there. Instead, i  had  company  of  dance  revellers in torch specks & Steve and new friends, Phil & Ali and Matt.
Not that i'm complaining off course. :)

Orbital 'live' gave me a new found respect for the 2 techno boffins. my fave part that night was hearing 'chime' mm.., 'halycon' and 2 tunes from THe Altogether album: 'Tension' and 'Tootled'. The atmosphere was so different and by the time 'satan' came on..i was lost in the music.

Too bad my my camera decided to go dead just right after midnight. Steve came to the rescue, i think lol. Leffield and Africabambata came on next and about 4am, Could have danced all morn if Steve didn't fall off the floor ... pooped and wanted to call it a night. lol

ANdy Weatherall started his set and that was when we started our way out of the arena wrapped in silver foil or something called bubble wrap in some parts of the world. It kept me warm but cosier was the rapture of the night of floor moping tunes. Woke up next morn on NYD with da choons still in my ears, or was that something else ... lmao

Top night, lovely morning. The best nYE eva and If i could do it all over again, i would i would i would :)
