Changing of the guardAlso of late is the disappearance of Tyler Blade, the primogen of Toreadors. I can only guess that the recent declaration of Lextalionis against Tyler Blade will leave him unfit to serve his clan in that former capacity. I even hear that the Gangrel primogen Stillwinds is leaving, who knows who will replace him. These are turbulent times and I hope that all the kindred of this fair city take the proper precautions to safegaurd their life. We would not want to find more dead brethren. Or at least missing ones.
Gangrel situationI would like to use this forum to reach the gangrel of this area and ask them who they want to speak for them in the time ahead. Mayhaps with Bruegell's departure we will not seek representation on the council. Know that the gangrel of this area do support Prince Kelly's rule and hope that his leadership will benefit us all.

[Chanel 9 News Report on T.V.]
-Picture a lady holding microphone, wind playing with her hair, she's squinting just a bit from the camera's light while behind her a fire rages- We are here in the industrial district of Riverside where firefighters have been working heroicly to put out the roaring flames behind me, but as you can see they are having difficulty controling the blaze. Reports seem to confirm suspicions that an accelerant was used in this fire as the warehouse was completely engulfed by the time firefighters arrived on the scene. Two other buildings have caught fire and several others are now threatened by the ravenous flames... -Helicopter view, spotlight seen dancing around on the ground below, voice of the reporter heard with a picture of her face in the lower left corner of the screen- As we can see the main warehouse has been gutted by the flames and the left wall has fallen, igniting the building beside it. The winds are not helping us much as they push cinders and heat to the other roof tops. -The light plays on several fire engines and the camera shot cuts back to the reporter- We will continue to keep you up to date on this fire as we get more news,
Vulgar use of DisciplinesIt seems of late that instead of the usual cunning and refined ways of dealing with this unlife, people have resorted to the use of disciplines to solve their problems. This not only speaks of a lack of character but also a lack of imagination. When dealing with certain snags in day to day dealings one should rely on wit and savvy to bypass the pits and mires of our existence. Smashing someone down with your curse bestowed strength may work but is the ultimate in vulgarity and foolishness. These nights we must remember to hide our nature not flaunt what separates us from the herd. Many of you new to this revel in your powers but soon it all will lose its flair and you will become entrenched in the unchanging way of life. Cultivate an air of refinement by discretely pursuing social means of dealing with people. One may be disgusted by the social dance but that is the way of our existence. We are mere pawns on the chessboard of life; do you wish to be sacrificed as useless piece or survive to pursue your own goals? Robert Howton |
