CHILDREN'S MINISTRY NETWORK

The "Children’s Ministry Network" (Central West) is an interdenominational network of local children's Christian-ministry workers, begun in Bathurst on 5th August 2000.

Our desire is to work together to raise the profile of children's ministry in our local churches, and work together more effectively in reaching children for Christ's glory.

Seeking to cater for specific needs, we will meet together regularly for:

• prayer, fellowship, Pastoral support, accountability and encouragement of one-another as children's ministry workers,

• sharing relevant recommended children's ministry resources together, (including regular practical training and equipping),

• to network all the local churches so we can work more effectively together.

As a coordinated community of children’s ministry workers (including Sunday School teachers, Kids Club leaders, SRE School Scripture teachers and helpers, SUPA Club workers, creche workers, playgroup leaders, children's ministry church coordinators, etc, from all denominations), as we get to know each other, the invisible barriers between our different ministries will begin to break down, and we can begin to work more effectively together as children's ministry workers.

Currently based in Bathurst NSW, 'CMN' has over 40 different people involved so far, from 19 different Christian churches and ministry organisations, from Dubbo to Springwood.
