When I start to build this site in 2000
we was a few... Besides me it was 5 MA students (Hanan, Tugan, Lior,
Yosi and Noga); 3 BA students ( Polina, Gregory, and Dola)
and 2 from PhD (Josette and Ohad).

In middle of 2001 Gil, also MA student,
start to coming to the lab and Dotan join to MA program.

Any of us has his unique character
and hobby: Josette is very quiet and diligent - she can work
on MP tools "twenty four seven" :0) and always
glad to explain all finenesses relevant to methods and techniques of
making flint tools. She also excites all of us with
stories about her excavations in China. Gil, like Lior,
archaeolozoologist, but he is working on Ohalo II findings.
He also very likes computers. Aren't we all? :0)....
In the summer 2 new BA students start to work on El-Wad
project: Reuven and Michal. Gregory, on contrary and
unfortunately, left the laboratory.
From November 2001 we have new
positive force on PhD field – George from Hungary and Itzik.
But in the same time Lior left to USA for his PhD 8(

2002 - Last addition to our colorful lab are 3 1st year BA
students: Tal (El-Wad project), Rakefet and Esti
(Ohalo II project). Welcome aboard, folks!

Spring 2005 - most of the people above finished theirs degree and left the lab....
Last people standing: me, Yossi, Alla, Reuven, Michal, Polina, Itay
(our new addition 8), Rakefet, Tugan and Noga visiting us sometimes ...

Here is Yosi. Yosi is very devoted to archaeology and
can talk about it for hours, chess is not
strange game for him.

Polina is artistic soul, that study and do art in
university and love to sweep us away for long talks
on cup of coffee

Reuven, second year student (BA), persevere on findings from
Myslia excavation. Most of the time he's in geological lab;
playing with acids and flint. But from this season excavations in El-Wad he
replaced Lior in one of fun, but important missions -
wet sifting. So, when all of us suffering from heat, he's
filling great near cool water. However, we're digging in the autumn also...
then it's our time to laugh
- cold water didn't seems too attractive then...
Update... Now he's second year MA student and working on Myslia bones

Michal
She’s very quiet and charming girl. Michal
want to see through artifacts and understand how prehistoric people really life....
I can't agree with her more - flint, bones,
structures are very important, but people's way of
thinking, their believes and all that comes with
it - it must be always ours main goal.

Alla - proud mom of 2 and MA graduate.
She working on El-Wad and
day dreaming about standardization in flint tools (making me crazy with daily talks about it.... LOL LOL LOL).

Tugan is serious girl,
that extremely devoted to Ohalo flint and love design
clothes and to cook. She's really don't like to hide her opinions
from anybody. Tugan love Italian culture, language and views and treasured
pictures, which she took during visit of pope in our country.

Rakefet is girl with unique sense of humor.
She like computer design, rock music, sea (see her site),
science fiction and just "love" doing picking.
She also like good photography and
she finally give me her picture, so... here she is 8P

Noga is THE expert on physical anthropology and can
told all about human being only from the look on few bones.

Itay - our "alian". If you have any question about English literature - he's your man 8).
Books and comics of dark fantasy - he's the expert in this area too.

Dotan is our future expert to sources of flint in Carmel
mountains area. His on foot exploration of this area impress us all ;0)....

Gyuri (George)
Very nice and polite guy who works
almost "twenty four seven" on Raqefet cave flints.
He love playing chess; playing guitar his second hobby.
He likes hot weather: so, Israel is definitely
perfect place for him.
He also really like "Simpsons".

Gregory is computer wizard that think that
life must always be on the first place and using for living example of it.
I owe him a lot - he's a man, that scaned most of the pictires in my site.
So, I'm really can't thank him enough about it. Besides, he was that, which introduce me the world
of HTML. This thing make me a person that spend all of his free
time in front of computer instead of serious articles and books
about archaeology et cetera. Hmmm, do I
really want to thank him about it?! I probably do...
So - thank you! A lot!!

Hanan is very sensitive and life
loving girl, that love all about Spanish culture. She's good
voice, dance beautifully and love to read books,
specially about meanings or philosophies of life.

Dola is very quiet and diligent to do
picking of findings of Ohalo girl,
that love to listen to Arabic pop music

Lior is our zooarchaeologist, who know
all about ancient rodents and
play beautifully (was told to me) saxophone.

Ohad is "doctor Ochre" of our laboratory.
He knows a lot about it, also he's expert in very passion
explanations how exactly everybody must to manage
any excavation in the world. This very funny and energetic
guy also painter than did already few exhibits.
