Kayaking on the HURON RIVER

Trips on the Huron River will be ad hoc during the week and weekends (usually after Sunday's pool session), water permitting.

If you're new to RSCK, you need to be checked out and approved by a Club Elder on the Huron River to be eligible to go on RSCK Club whitewater trips and sign out a kayak and equipment. During the summer, several RSCK "Elders" kayak the Huron River during the week and weekends. Here is your chance to get approved for moving water. The Huron trips are usually from Dexter-Huron Metro Park to Delhi Metro Park and last about 2 1/2 hours. Another option is to play around at Delhi rapids and/or take a short trip downriver to Tubbs rapids.
