A Bit About Myself

� As I indicated on my Home Page, my name is Malinda.� I'm a native Californian and still live in the city where I was born. � I love this State and can't imagine living anywhere else. � We have it all: the Pacific Ocean, mountains, valleys, rivers and desert; all fairly close to most places. � We have our problems too, but all-in-all I think it's a great place to live.

� I became a Christian when I was 6 years old. � Although I've had a major stumble or two along the way, the Lord has watched over me and kept me safe due to His love and my Mom's prayers. � God is good and He loves to be a part of our lives on a daily basis; so I talk to, complain to, and try to seek Him all the time!

� I have worked for the State of California in a clerical capacity since 1990. � I have a great group of people to work with and a varied work load, so things stay interesting most of the time.

� I love to read; especially mysteries by Ann Perry and Lillian Jackson Braun, to name just two of the authors who's books I try not to miss, and poetry ranging from the sonnets of Wm. Shakespeare to the limericks of Ogden Nash. � I also like to listen to various styles of music from Celtic-influenced pop to light jazz.

� Then there are cats. � I've had at least one cat sharing my life since I was 7 years old. � Currently I have 3: Timmy, Katey and Sonny.� They all have their own little personalities, quirks, likes, and dislikes: brats one and all and they rule the roost around here.
