This 80 Chevy El Camino was given to me by my friend John who owns a fairly large auto repair shop. A customer had brought it to him for a State Inspection. It passed the smog test but failed the inspection because of too much rust. John traded him an old Volvo for it.

It sat in Johns storage yard for about six months until one day he called me and asked me if I wanted it. He said I could have it for free and all I had to do was drive it away. Within an hour I had it home and parked with my other parts cars. It has a strong V6 with a TH200 automatic transmission and it drives pretty well. It's also a non-A/C car.  However, it will never see the road again because the frame is rusted too badly. It will become another parts car.
