I found this georgous 79 in a local junkyard.  It was original right down to the fourteen inch hubcaps.  It had arrived at the yard a few days prior to my visit.  I asked the owner of the yard how much for it and he wanted $150.  I bought it on the spot.  He then told me that the previous owner drove it to the yard.  I got the keys, started it up, slapped some plates on it and drove it home.  It has a 229 engine and a TH200.  I considered putting it on the road but the frame is in pretty rough shape from too many New England winters. It has become another parts car.
