1965 SS Chevelle

I just finished a year and half frame off restoration at a cost of 30K and many, many hours of work.

I started with a car that most people would have done minimal work and expense and shown it. I wanted the car to look original but have all the new stuff I liked.

I put an 88 TPI after market fuel injection 350, 700r4, 3:55 gears that I dont like and I've gone to 3:31 and now going to 3:08. I've got electric fans, oversized radiator, quick steering, over-sized sway bars. I've got disc antilock brakes - everything is brand new.

I have hundreds of photos to prove no rust - except a little in front of the rear bumper where they all rust. So far, I've won every show I've been in but North Alabama is a small place. The only thing I'd like better is a Z 16, which I realize I can't afford.

Boy, If I could have had this car when I was 18!!!
