your 64-72 Chevelle page.

Paint/Interior: DuPont two stage Poppy Seed Pearl with black stripes; black interior with racing
buckets and Hurst ProMatic 2 shifter. Car was originally a small block car, obtained through a trade
for a 1990 Mustang GT. Blew the motor on test drive, so we dropped in the big block we were building
for another 72 Chevelle we already owned. Very solid car, very fast vehicle.

Update april-21-2000.
Hello--just wanted to give you an update on my 1972 Chevelle that is included on your web site.
For one, I am now 17. Since I sent you the information I have added a new MSD billet distributor,
MSD 6AL box and a Nology coil, and Accel 300+ wires.
We finally got a weekend of dry weather where I could take the car to the drag strip last weekend.
It was still cool and the car did not hook well (1.88 60 foot times) but was able to run 12.56 in the
quarter. On a warm track, I think the e.t. would be at least a tenth lower. The drum brakes on the
front are also a little loose and would not hold the car above 2000 rpm. The car needs to launch at
least at 2500, maybe 3000 on the 3500 stall converter.
Will run the car again on April 29 (weather permitting) and will have the Nitrous Express Gemini
Twin kit shooting 200 hp by that time. Hope to get into the 12.30's on motor and high 10's on the
gas.
Thanks for putting my car on your page--my friends think it is really cool.
