Hello, This is my '69 Chevelle SS. In June / ' 04 I took out the 427 and put in a new .060 over 496 monster. It has all the go fast goodies like: Holley 950 cfm carb "heavily modified" by Biggs Performance to a "Stage 5 level", HVH super sucker 4 hole spacer, Dart race series heads with 2.30 / 1.88 valves, ported and polished @ Dart on a CNC machine, Comp. Cams roller rockers, Dart single plane intake also ported and gasket matched @ Dart, Comp. Cams solid roller camshaft, Pete Jackson "noisy gear drive, ATI balancer, Melling H.V. oil pump, Moroso 8qt. pan with trap door, windage tray and crank scraper, Hooker super comp. ceramic headers, MSD pro billet dist.,coil, and 6 AL spark box.
The transmission is a turbo 400 with a Coan 10' 3500-3800 stall and a Summit racing deep pan.
The rear is a fresh GM 12 bolt with Eaton posi, Richmond 4:10 gears, Moser axles, and a Moser rear-end cover with adjustable girdle for main caps.
Suspension is next, then it's time for slicks, a new fuel cell, a new fuel pump, and on, and on.
Enjoy, Jerry
