Chevelle Malibu 1971

I got my car when i was 16 and drove it to school and work until it got into an accident and was hit while i was at work, a hit and run.

Because i had full coverage and knew some people at a body shop I got the sweet deal. I did the body work on the front end and rear quarter panel and got it painted. I also redid the trans, braking system and front suspension.

I originally paid 1500 and got a cowl hood, drivers fender and drivers door for that price off an old guy who was going to build it up for his wife but ran out of money.

The car has a 307 with a turbo 350 stock 273 gears and ran a 15.831 at 89 mph at Pomona raceway, using only 87 octane and no special tricks.
