It all started early in l998 when Malia answered a �female vocalist wanted� ad in a music industry trade magazine. At the time the group Brian Faith Band, was working in the L. A. area and surrounding communities. Prior to joining the band, Malia honed her performance skills working aboard cruise line ships. The timing was right and Malia was looking for a new direction to showcase her talents.
