I am a single father of one great kid who lives with his mom. She is the greatest mom on the planet, with the possible exception of mine. Though she and I are not together anymore and both prefer it that way. My son is the single greatest joy in my life and if I am hard to reach at times hopefully it is because I am spending time with him. I am a romantic, but have evolved into a confirmed bacheleur. Maybe I'm a little too odd for the women I used to go out with. Probably *G* Now I'm set in my ways. I used to have my poetry on my webpage but it went poof with my original webpage - along with other writing I had. Probably better than way - sappy sentinmental stuff.

I enjoy fantasy, science fiction, horror, mysteries, roleplaying games, comic books and fantasy/comic art. I enjoy OLD movies (yes, b&w) and even musicals. I have a good circle of friends, most of whom game, and a GREAT family. Some friends and I have designed our own rp system which we have been playing for a number of years, and with the possible exception of dnd is the most popular. My dad has passed away but my mom is still living up in my hometown of Ashland, WI. She's doing well and I hope continues to do so for a long time (though I'm trying to get her to move down closer to us). I myself am now living in a suburb of Minneapolis, and my two sisters and my brother all live within 30 min of here.

I went to college at UW-Superior. I work at an alarm company as central station operator - doing dispatches and the like. I have my own house which I like - a two bedroom rambler. Room for me and my son to have his own room when he comes over. My basement is converted into rec room and an emergency bedroom for company.

I like nature but don't get out as much as I should. I'm a pretty quiet guy, who likes solitude at times. My tastes in music are eclectic, except I almost always dislike rap music. It's not cuz I'm old, they had rap when I was a teen too, but it sounds uneducated and childish to me. I do like rock, heavy metal, alternative, jazz, classical, country and blues. Just not rap. *G*
