Howdy everyone!

This is mostly a word of warning rather than a review. This movie is bad, very bad. It is so bad that even after I watched it about a month ago on rental, I still regret having seen it. Seriously.

Where shall I begin? The stupid story? The cheesy special effects? The complete lack of originality and brazen rip off of other classics such as Alien?

I'm still shocked and appalled by the scene with this alien growing inside this dude's stomach and then seeing his stomach expand and an alien bursts out. Give me a freaking break! Am I supposed to be impressed? Have I not seen this before? Is it supposed to make me laugh in pity for this movie? Is it supposed to gross me out? Is it supposed to surprise me?

This movie made me think of a particularly bad episode of the X-Files. You know, one of those irritating episodes that goes no where? The only good thing with an X-Files episode is that it doesn't last as long. Damn!

The only reason I was at all inclined to rent this movie was because of Morgan Freeman. Too bad, even he can't save this one.
