| EYE s/t 2001 (US $10) As Told By Eric I: "EYE was formed in 2001 and our first album was released only to friends and family shortly after. There were only 50 copies made. We wanted to explore the music world a bit further after I got kicked out of my band. I wasn't happy with the situation anyway. I had a lot of ideas that they ("Wired For Sound") were not interested in. They wanted to be a happy peppy band, which I didn't want. That's why we played (Creed and Red Hot Chili Pepper) covers 3-to-1 (covers to originals). That's what they wanted, so good for them. I am a sad person by nature, so my lyrics didn't sit well with them, either. Thus, the split was a good thing for all of us.
