BLOOD BATTLE
i stood transfixed
Watching in awe. tears streaming down the handsome face.
an inevitable howl of pain.
gasping. coughing.
Shuddering and shivering.
Being engulfed in the cold darkness.
Feeling of being lost. in a bundle of cobwebs.
Gazing at the horrific scene unfolding before me.
a pang in my heart.
the struggling stranger. trying to hold on.
the distinctive thumping of his beautiful heart.
Trying to fulfill its master's needs.
i felt the smooth texture of his skin. softness of his hair. hot tears.
grasping on to me. with the last of his strength.
trying to find a way back. escape the harsh reality.
warm breaths caressed my cheeks. making my knees go weak.
i was mesmerized. the moonlight on his face, the life being drained out.
Fading..
the last anguish look in his eyes carved into my heart.
it was beautiful. I smiled.
nothing ever changed. it was all the same.
the whirlwind of emotions and reflection is what we vampires
lack. our pride
and glory.
i stood up. walking away. in search of my next love. victim.

my battle for blood.
