I've known him in a way since I was about four days old, when he was born. We went to Coombe Hill School together from 1988 to 1995.
At school Simon was a bit of a troublemaker I think, but weren't we all? I don't think I ever thought of him as a very close friend as that was really limited by who I had lessons with and Simon was in the other set all through Coombe. Still, I spent a fair bit of time with him, especially when my mother gave him and his younger sister Claire lifts to school. We bullied her ruthlessly, largely because I don't have any younger siblings myself and was overjoyed to find someone I could redirect my older brothers' actions onto.
I haven't seem Simon I think since I left Coombe Hill, though there I may be wrong. I have seen his parents and his sister much more recently. I think he's doing something engineeringy at Kingston University. I got the above E-mail address from a web search. God only knows if its him.
