MY PRAYER TONIGHT
Dear Lord up in Heaven, as I pray by my bed,
I'm sorry for all unkind things that I've said.
Today, dear Lord, I'm sure that I have learned
I don't want to go where all sinners are burned.
The road to Heaven is the best road I know,
I want to go where all good Christians do go.
I want to share in that wonderful dream
And live my life by a cool, clear stream.
I'm not selfish, though; I'll share this joy
And Tell it to all whther girl or boy.
I want to tell this to every woman and man;
Why, I want to tell it to the world if I can.
So while I'm here on earth, I'll pay my bill
By working each day to do the Lord's will.
So help me, Lord, to do just Your desire
And keep me safe from Satan's great fire.
