My friends, tonight,
And I'm speaking to you,
If you're lost out in sin,
Here's what you should do:
Draw nigh to God,
And He'll draw nigh to you,
And by the hand
He'll lead you through.
If you're in the world
And you aren't satisfied,
(No rest for the wicked,
For you' tried and tried)
Give God a chance
To find the missing link.
He's coming soon;
It's later than you think
Resist old Satan,
And from you he'll flee
For he cana't stick around
When God sets you free.
Here are the words
That you should say:
"Get thee behind me,"
And he'll go away
Procrastination
May send you to hell,
and there in the fire,
Evermore you will dwell,
Of hell and destruction.
If you're on the brink,
Draw nigh to God;
It's later than you think.
The coming of Jesus
Is drawing near.
If your course is toward Heaven,
Just let God steer.
Heaven you'll reach,
If for Heaven you're bound,
Though trials and storms
May toss your ship around.
Lift others out
When you hear their humble pleas,
Out of Satan's
Troubled and stormy seas.
Put them on the ship
Which never will sink.
And draw nigh to God;
It's later than you think.
Far away in the wastelands
Are men who have never
Heard of Jesus,
His love, and living forever.
Let us, therefore, go forth,
For the harvest is white,
And reap the ripe harvest
With all of our might.
There are rewards for all souls
Whether black or white,
And the records are kept
Where the Lamb is the light,
Written in the book of Life
With everlsating ink.
Let's work for the Master;
It;s later than we think.
If the righteous are barely saved,
Where will the sinner be?
He'll be down there
With Satan in that everlasting sea,
Not a sea of water,
Friend, but a sea of fire.
And there's your final resting place
If the world you should desire.
So why not change your way
And turn another leaf?
He will lighten your heavy burden
And give you quick relief,
He will set you on the solid rock
Never again to sink
Let us all praise and thank Him
For it's later than we think.
