IT'S CHRISTMAS
GIVE FREELY

Christmas is the time of year
To freely give and love,
To celebrate the birthday of our
Saviour from above.
Over nineteen hundred yeaars ago
He was laid inside the manager,
And tho' He's preached all over the world,
To many He's still a stranger.

The most highly exalted Man in the world
Was born inside a stall
And humbly lived and hung on the cross
To give His life for all.
So as this Christmas comes to you,
Think of its real meaning
And of how many tmes a year on His
Precious arm you're leaning.

The Bible says it's more blessed to give
Than it is to receive,
But many give to get in return
With only themselves to deceive.
Many others around this world don't
Have as much as you;
Pray for them and thank your Lord
And to your God be true.

Give this Christmas as never before.
Give not to get in return,
But give as God would have you, that
Others through you might learn
That God is real and true today and
Still is on the throne.
Tho' friends and loved ones may betray,
He'll never leave thee alone.
