Hey guys!
Sorry this is a bit delayed. There was a glitch in the system, but I'm back online now. To
those who missed Friday's show, here goes:
Woohoooo!! Our Ms. Femme Fatale Margo has been busy at work!! She called Babs to tell her
to stop preparing for her wedding coz there ain't gonna be one!! Then she went off to
Solis' Construction to stir up trouble over there. Well, luckily our Mr. Macho Engineer
refused to see her and locked the door. Elsa told Santiago about Babs' earlier visit -
when he was away trying to woo Lisa, of course - she told him that Babs suspected there's
another woman in Santiago's life! Bingo!! Spot on, Babs!! Santiago went into his office
and started talking to himself. Poor guy!!
As Santiago was talking to himself, Ernesto and Anibal arrived and went into his office to
discuss their projects. Anibal didn't like it when Papita agreed with Santiago's
suggestion - land swap with the hospital! When they left Santiago's office, they met our
Margo. Aha…..El Papita was making goo-goo eyes at Margo. Anibal suspected there's
somethin' goin' on between Margo and Santiago as well as Margo and El Papita. He said,
isn't it fitting if it turned out that both Father and Son-in-law share the same
mistress!! Papa wasn't happy!!
Anyway, after failing to barge into Santiago's office, Margo went off in a huff! But, she
said, I'll be back, baby!! (way to go, Margo!! 100 points for persistence!!)
Santiago called Babs and asked to meet her. Babs at the time was at Isabel's gallery,
pouring her troubles to her. So off to the caf� Babs went, only to have her heart broken.
Santiago told her that he felt they shouldn't get married. Babs - aha!! I knew it, there's
another woman, ain't it?!! Santiago - no, no, it's nothin' to do with you, it's me!! I
know how unhappy your parents' marriage is, and I don't want to make you go thru' the
same!! Let me explain….Babs - no, don't touch me, I never want to see your face
again!! Off she went.
Meanwhile, Lisa was happily daydreaming at the hospital. Ruby and Magaly commented on her
looks - she actually let her hair down and wore some make up! Magaly was later accused of
stealing a box full of penicillin. Actually she took two bottles for her sick grandchild.
The actual thief was Elvira (the bitchy nurse) and I think she's working in concert with
Serpa (not so sure coz at the time there weren't any subtitles!)
Beba ditched school to go and work at the record shop. Two cops came in to talk to
Francisco about the car thefts. Francisco said he knew nuts, except for what the cops tell
him. Beba overheard them. Later, Francisco snapped at Beba and the other girl. They were
talking about him. He said that just because someone has tattoos and stuff, he's branded a
baddie! He said that the only place where he fit in (and not thought of as a gangster) was
at work, and even that has changed since Beba started working there!! (not a very good
start to their relationship, ain't it?) Oh ya, turned out that good ole Pizza boy ain't so
good after all!! He's somehow involved, and trying to frame Francisco for it!!
Santiago went to the sports club and told Javier that he's not marrying Babs. Might need
to find another job - the Solis' won't be too happy with him!! Wanted to get a job as a
swimming instructor! Ha! Ha! (he can come at teach me to swim, any time!! Betcha you'll
agree with me!!)
Babs went home in a fit and told Mamita and Anibal that the wedding's off!! That's the end
for the week!!
