Episode 120

ºLISA AND AUGUSTO
Augusto is still finding it hard to accept the fact that Margarita has an affair with Santiago. He blames Santiago but Lisa defends him, saying that Santiago doesn't even knew that Margo was married at that moment. Augusto says that it is impossible that Santiago doesn't know Margarita is married because everyone at the Solis Enterprise, the receptionists, the workers and even Ernesto Solis seem to know Margarita well. Lisa says that Margarita hides her real identity well.

ºMARGARITA is at her aunt's house. Her aunt is suspicious because since her marriage to Augusto, Margarita has never visit her and suddenly, she appears in front of her doorstep. Margarita says that she is mad at her aunt because when she was small, she was forced to sell dolls and then when she returned home, she had to wash the plates. Her aunt says that she was supposed to help her to earn a living.

ºROBERTO ARRIVES AT THE CLINICAL TO VISIT BEBA. Beba is walking along the corridor when she meets Roberto. He brings along with him a large bouquet of flowers.
"How are you?"
"It doesn't matter to me whether you come or not. I don't care if you come to visit me thousands time."
"Why are you being so cold towards me. After all, I am your boyfriend."
"I don't want to see you anymore. If you come again, I will definitely tell Augusto about your wrongdoings."
"Alright. Don't say I didn't try to be nice to you. You will be sorry for this."
Roberto then leave Beba with an angry expression on his face.

ºAUGUSTO AND LISA are still at the living room. Augusto says that he has repaired the baby's cot because he has been hoping for so long to be a father.
Now, all his hopes are dashed because the child that Margarita is having in her womb is not his, the baby is Santiago's. Augusto then goes to search for Margarita. Lisa tries to stop him but she can't do anything.

ºAT THE COURT, Santiago's lawyer is asking him how he becomes a partner of Ernesto Solis.
"After graduation, I was hired by the firm. In order to show their gratitude to me for my knowledge and work, they offered me to buy shares in the company. After successfully completing a few projects, they offered me more shares and I ended up as one the main shareholders of the firm. I need to stress that I become successful because I worked hard for it and I deserve it."
The lawyer then asks him about the explosion at the clinical.
"Anibal Solis is the one responsible for the explosion. He wants to make the clinical looks as if it is not safe and must be closed. Then he will get to build the shopping mall on the clinical's land."
At this point, Galindez voices up his objection, saying that the accused has no right to accuse Anibal Solis. the judge accepts his objection.
"Were you at the construction site when the accident happened?"
"No, I was on leave. Actually, I have resigned after I found out that there seemed to be something fishy happening at the clinical."
"Did you inform anyone about your resignation?"
"I told Galindez but he is a liar and he will denied that."
"Do you know why Galindez offered his service to you on the day you were caught but when you rejected his offer, he turned against you."
"Well, I am not sure. Maybe this is a conspiracy to frame me."

ºLISA IS SITTING AT THE SOFA. "Why God, Why does this happen. Now my brother is suffering. Ooooooooh, I am so sorry."Lisa is crying.

ºAT THE COURT, it is Galindez's turn to question Santiago.
"Did anyone know that you have resigned?"
"Alvaro Galindez and Ernesto Solis knew."
"Anyone else?"
"My secretary."
"I mean any of the construction workers?"
"No."
"Court, this person claims that he has resigned but he still went into the tunnel and dug a deep hole. If he has resigned like he claimed to be, he wouldn't have any power to do anything at the site.Can you prove that you have resigned?"
"I can prove it with my words."
"Your words?"
At this moment, the court becomes noisy and the judge has to calm them down.

ºAT OMAIRA'S HOUSE, Augusto is knocking like a mad man at the door and Omaira rushes to open it. Augusto storms inside and demands to know where Margarita is.
"Where is she? Tell me where is Margarita?"
"I don't know where she is now."
"I am sure that she came here after she left the house and she must have told you where she is going."
Omaira sees that Augusto is very mad and immediately senses that he has known the truth.
"You are the one who give her orders on what to do. You are the one who causes the breaking up of my family. Margarita, I will track you down."

ºAT THE AUNT'S HOUSE, her aunt is going to the shop to buy something. Margarita gives her money and she doesn't hesitate to take it. Her aunt says that since Margarita is coming to stay at her house, she needs to contribute financially. After the aunt leaves the house, Margarita curses her,"If only I am not in trouble, I swear that I will attending your funeral."
Then, she phones Omaira.

ºAT OMAIRA'S HOUSE, "Ring, ring, ring....." Omaira picks up the phone. Augusto senses that it is Margarita who calls and immediately snatches the receiver from her.
"Where are you?"
"Augusto, please listen to me."
"I don't want to hear any of your explanation. Just tell me where you are."
At this moment, Margarita doesn't know that Augusto has known the truth.
"I am at my aunt's place."
"Stay where you are. Wait for me there."
Augusto then leaves the house.
Omaira says to herself that Margarita will be in hot soup and her days are numbered.

ºAT MARGARITA'S AUNT HOUSE, Margarita begins to question whether Augusto has known tha truth.
"He knows it. He will kill me. I am sure that the
"Miss Perfecta" has told Augusto everything."

ºBACK AT THE COURT, Mama Eloisa tells Santiago's lawyer that she is very worried and she feels like dying.
"Don't worry. I will try to debate any evidence that the other party will show to the court. This business has been a riddle to me from the beginning (Meaning that Santiago hasn't tell her everything.)"
Eloisa then speaks to her son.
"Why don't we ask Barbara to testify?"
"No, mama. I don't want to cause Barbara any harm. She has suffered enough."
"I know that she is willing to help. She comes to listen to this trial, and I know that she is sitting there waiting anxiously for the moment you will be proven innocent."
"No, mama. Just leave Barbara alone. I don't want her to quarrel with her family."
The lawyer has been listening to this conversation.

ºAT AUGUSTO'S HOUSE, Josefina asks Lisa to stop crying (like a baby).
"Por favor.....please stop crying."
"I need to go out. Please tell Silvia that.....NO .....don't tell her anything. I just want to go out for a while. I need to be with HIM!"

ºOUTSIDE THE COURTROOM, Anibal is talking to Barbara.
"What are you doing here? Are you mad?"
"I came to make sure that Santiago gets a fair trial."
"Just go back."
"I am worried about Santiago."
"You are so stubborn. What can you do? Testify for Santiago's sake?"
"I will if I think that Santiago has been wrongly accused."
"Will you go voluntarily or with force?"

ºLISA ARRIVES at the court and he asks someone the direction to the courtroom of Santiago's case.

ºSilvia calls Josefina and asks her about her children.
"They are sleeping."
"How is Lisa?"
"Augusto talks to Lisa and then she cries."
"Where is Lisa?"
"I don't know. Augusto is not here too."
Silvia whispers to herself,"You have told Augusto."

ºOUTSIDE THE COURTHOUSE, Barbara and Anibal meets Lisa.
"So, you're Lisa."
"Yes, I am."
Anibal:"After this, you will know the truth about Santiago."
Lisa:"I believe that he is innocent."
Anibal:"I can't believe it. Two women, you Lisa and my sister, Barbara fight over this liar, womanizer and going to be criminal who will spend some time in the prison."
Barbara:"If anything happens to Santiago, the court will get to hear what I have to say."

ºINSIDE THE COURTROOM, Santiago's lawyer calls for the next witness who is Elsa Alcara, his former secretary.
"Did the accused asked you to pack his things?"
"Yes, he did. He was having a quarrel with the management and he decided to leave the company."
"So, no doubt that Santiago has resigned from Solis Enterprise?"
"Yes."
It is Galindez's turn to question Elsa.
"How long have you been working with Santiago?"
"Ever since he started working at the company?"
"How many years?"
"3 years."
"I want to remind you that you are under oath."
"I realized that."
"How many times did Santiago threaten to resign from the company?"
"A few times."
"And how many times did he instruct you to pack his stuff?"
"2 times."
This statement by Elsa certainly goes against Santiago's defence. Elsa apologizes to Santiago.

ºTHE NEXT WITNESS is Douglas Machado, the foreman, Galindez questions him.
"Did you ever question the orders given by Mr. Ortega?"
"No."
"Can you give us some examples?"
"He ordered us to throw rubbish and drained water towards the clinical."
Santiago says angrily that this guy is corrupted.
Then, Santiago's lawyer question the man.
"Are you sure that you and Mr. Diaz went to dig a tunnel and plant explosives there?"
"Yes."
"Are you sure that this happened the night before the incident?"
"Yes."
"Court, this man is certainly lying because on that particular night, Mr. Diaz was drinking at a club and there were about 20 to 30 witnesses who could testify on his behalf."
Douglas has nothing to say.

ºTHE NEXT WITNESS is ANIBAL SOLIS. Galindez question him.
"Why do you think the accused will do such a thing?"
"I think he wants to embezzle the company's fund. He wants to reduce the expenses so that he can earn the extra money. In order to cut down the expenses, he uses materials of low quality and thus, causes the collapse of the building."
Then Santiago's lawyer questions him.
"Are you sure that Mr. Diaz wants to embezzle the money?"
"What else could it be?"
"According to the report by the fire department, the found a few pieces of new wood. Why would a person who wants to cut down expenses uses new materials instead of old ones?"

ºAUGUSTO is driving his truck and going to find Margarita.
"How dare you do all this, Margarita. You create lots of trouble. Now I understand why you have always try to separate Lisa from Santiago."
Viewers are shown flashbacks of the times when Margarita objects to Augusto of Lisa's relationship with Santiago.Also the times when Santiago meets Augusto after Lisa's disappearance.
"Everyone knows but they keep to themselves."

ºAT MARGARITA'S AUNT HOUSE, Margo wants to run away. Her aunt then knows that she is on the run fron her husband and that the baby is not Augusto's. She begs her aunt to run away with her but just then, Augusto comes knocking at the door like a mad man.
"Open this door, I am Augusto, Margarita's husband and I know that you are inside!"

ºSilvia meanwhile asks permission from Ignacio to go back because she is worried 'bout her family. He offers to fetch her home but she refuses.

ºNea agrees to perform the show that Carlos wrote.
