Santiago
calls the house and gets Lisa; Margarita tries to cut into the conversation
but fails. Lisa assures Santiago she doesn't need her help. She goes to the
hospital, greets Augusto, tells him she will explain everything later but
Beba is her priority, she has brought some herbs from the jungle that may
help. Jaime is deeply upset by Beba's condition, knows she is dying. Vicente
and Delia try to keep him from falling back into a catatonic state. He is
unable to concentrate. Negro helps Francisco get a ladder to reach the
window of Beba's room, and Rubi opens the window for him. Silvia goes to
Mariangel's house, demands to see her children who Mariangel assures her
aren't there, though some shoes are. Silvia accuses Mariangel of having
something with Carlos and feels certain when Mariangel assures her that she
and Carlos "were" just friends. Meanwhile, Carlos has the twins
and finds a room with a theatre friend.
